Comments on news posted 2002-03-19 19:43:12: Right now, 19:40 eastern, yahoo DNS servers all refuse to resolve any sub-domains. This means such things as news.yahoo.com, mail.yahoo.com, and other XXXX.yahoo.com URLs will simply hang, waiting for one of the many yahoo DNS servers to respond. ..
Trace to yahoo.com now terminates at rc4.yahoo.com, and one of their hops indicates yahoo.com was switched over to a different VLAN within their network. Give 'em a break.
