All the more help they can get for folding@home and the rest of out computer groups here at dslreports the better! Especially such a widly used program like the google toolbar. I even have one myself! Good news, and I think everyone agrees -- "Insanity is heredity, we get it from our children" |

Well as Adam sandler in "Big daddy"
Would say " Well alright !"
I guess this could be good news it really but depends on what the users of the tool bar feel about there CPU cycles being taken...
If they have no option but to do the DC or not then thats not right, as long as Google doesn't get a big head over all the WUs that its users are doing.. -- Vist us at the dallas forum |

My computer runs slow as hell when the whole processor is being used. It would suck to have it run like that all the time. -- "Nothing fits better than a dead man's shirt" -Jimmy James |

Since the program runs at the lowest priority, it doesn't detract from anything that you might be doing. It only uses idle CPU cycles, so you'll never notice a performance hit while running it. -- My computers are searching for cures - What's your's doing?Join DSLReports Team Helix!Check out:»Team Helix |
