All the more help they can get for folding@home and the rest of out computer groups here at dslreports the better! Especially such a widly used program like the google toolbar. I even have one myself! Good news, and I think everyone agrees

Well as Adam sandler in "Big daddy"

I guess this could be good news it really but depends on what the users of the tool bar feel about there CPU cycles being taken...

If they have no option but to do the DC or not then thats not right, as long as Google doesn't get a big head over all the WUs that its users are doing..

I dunno if this is good...

My computer runs slow as hell when the whole processor is being used. It would suck to have it run like that all the time.

folding@home runs in 'idle' priority with the OS and thus only uses CPU cycles when another program doesnt need them.

Since the program runs at the lowest priority, it doesn't detract from anything that you might be doing. It only uses idle CPU cycles, so you'll never notice a performance hit while running it.
