Update: It Just Keeps Getting Scarier
--------------------------------------------------------------

Hey folks, we wish we were making this stuff up, but this is real. No more
joking about Ashcroft and internment camps in the United States -- now it's
a live proposal floating within the halls of the United States Justice
Department.

Here's the scoop in brief from conservative commentator and constitutional
scholar Jonathan Turley, writing in the Los Angeles Times last week:

"Atty. Gen. John Ashcroft's announced desire for camps for U.S. citizens he
deems to be "enemy combatants" has moved him from merely being a political
embarrassment to being a constitutional menace.

Ashcroft's plan, disclosed last week but little publicized, would allow him
to order the indefinite incarceration of U.S. citizens and summarily strip
them of their constitutional rights and access to the courts by declaring
them enemy combatants.

The proposed camp plan should trigger immediate congressional hearings and
reconsideration of Ashcroft's fitness for this important office. Whereas Al
Qaeda is a threat to the lives of our citizens, Ashcroft has become a clear
and present threat to our liberties."

this is so funny

So let me get this straight...Al Gore created the internet and now George Bush is going to kill it? HAHA Shows you that you sould have voted for Gore...or wait did you? Thats right he won anyways...oh well... Welcome to New Germany. I hear that Nazi from California is trying to get a law passed to become president at some point.... Go figure....Next year we will all have one bank acct probably through the goverment.... It will be a barcode probably...If you break down a barcode into numbers it is always divided by a 6 a 6 and a 6. Welcome to hell everyone. To tell someone they cannot KNOW something has to be a law made up by people who know NOTHING. I say there should be a spot on the ballots to vote for nobody and we have an actual free country for 4 years. Wouldnt that be a nice change... I have my sights set on moving to Canada at some point...I hear their internet is much faster anyways Sorry to say, but Bush has already bought his way into 04... I hate the bastard...but whoever has the most money wins and thats a fact. Can anyone say campaign finance reform?
