CVS Pharmacy

I can see CVS Pharmacy on my visible wireless network list at home. Also not WEP enabled. I'm not going to bother looking in it though. The place is too depressing without looking at their computer system as well.

Re: CVS Pharmacy

Assuming you're in an apartment building, how many wireless signals do you pick up from where you are?

How close are you to the CVS justin See Profile?

I have one less than 1/16 of a mile away, haven't used my wireless card in a while. Maybe I'll check to see if it shows up as an active connection when I get home.

Re: CVS Pharmacy

I can see it from my front window. I don't think they are blasting the signal far.

Re: CVS Pharmacy

I wouldn't dare go snooping around in there ... could you imagine if the pharmacy Rx database info was actually accessible.

That would be very bad for them if one of the news agencies caught wind.

Re: CVS Pharmacy

well maybe they have a list of allowed mac addresses. But then if the network is advertising its name, and not got WEP on, you could listen to station to base station traffic.

you'd be surprised at who's broadcasting. i've picked up either walgreens or eckerds before on a wardrive, dont know remember which cause they were across the street from each other, and there was no wep

disclaimer: on previous wardrives, i've only looked for signals, NEVER logged on to anyone
