| Can... *crackle* me.... *crackle crackle* now? Now you can watch commercials of the idiot Verizon guy walking around going "Can you hear me now?" on you Sprint phone while you are yelling the same thing into your phone... -- Male by birth... Geek by choice. -- Man... Earth's most foolish child. | |

| wah wah hate to see a grown man cry .. im not trying to side w/ sprint at all, but you all are just making yourselves sound worse then sprint .. granted sprint isn't perfect, but its not as bad as you all say, as for the "unlimited vision" and sprint screwing up, read you agreement .. says pretty plainly that you cannot use connection cards, which means although they sell connection kits for laptops, you can't use them .. vision is meant to be used on the phone ( i cant remember the web address for the service agreement, but im sure if you look hard enough, you can find it .. ive had a sanyo 5300, 8100, samsung n400 and 2 treos (the old one, a 270 was through cingular and the new one is a 600) and every single one of them worked fine, and i would own another one of either of them at any point, except for maybe the 8100, it was just a cutback version of the 5300, no flash, cut down camera etc. but like i said, im not trying to side with sprint, they have their share of problems, but to read what you all are typing, it makes them sound like a stateside gsm provider .. oh and one more little point about the video conferencing phones, the treo 600 is a vc ready phone, and as soon as sprint switches over to full 3g rather then 2.5g, every other manufacturer, especially all the pda/phone manufacturers, like samsung, toshiba blah blah blah will start making theirs vc ready. | |

| sprint can eat me they need to take care of problems with their currect (non) services before introducing something new. it's bad enough when people talk on the phone and not pay attention when they drive, but to give them tv access on a phone is crazy IMO -- I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather...not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car ... | But didn't you hear the pin drop?
As a long term (15+ years) employee of the 'pin drop Candace Bergen telephone company', all I can tell you is run as fast as you can from any *NEW* SPRINT/PCS product. Senior management has a death wish chasing every new shiny object that comes down the pike even after losing 5 billion (with a B) $$$ with the ION fiasco and the 'pizza boxes' on the roof. From $75 to $15 a share for FON stock, PCS (now languishing around $4 a share) has yet to show a positive return to investors from inception. 13,000 employees pink slipped to date with another 6K gone before year's end. I guess they have to pay the VP of "Diversity" salary somehow (scout's honor we got one!). The KC HQ has more management than even Dilbert could imagine ! -- "Our network engineers are aware of the problem..."

| C'mon Cletus... heh.. where can i sign up to get this service!
sprint works for me... and ive had them sicne they were sprint spectrum.. and i guess ill be the last kid on the block with them once LNP comes in and everyone jumps of the sprint wagon.
i love technology and embrace it so this sounds good. yes sprint should beef up their CS and towers but deploying this technology is something already available on the sprint network so why not do it.. the soccer moms wil want to watch oprah while they are out at the game with junior anyway...
edit: clarification/spelling

| Re: But didn't you hear the pin drop? is sprint stock public yet .. i'd give 15 bucks a share, and 4 bucks for the pcs side just for the fact that if everything you just typed is true, within a year the company will be back on their feet making an assload of money and stock will be through the roof, just simply because if sprint starts losing money, the guys up top are gonna start going broke, and noone likes to be broke | |
