This is for hosted content, not for your DSL line. From the document you linked:

"The bandwidth quota includes bandwidth used for content you host here at Sonic.net, including web, ftp and multimedia. It does not apply to content you download to your PC."

No invisible barriers here.

Too Far ??

For some reason, I called up sonic to get this deal and they say I am too far from the CO. I am bout 9000 feet they said.

Funny thing is, about 1 1/2 - 2 years ago, I had the 4-6mbit package from SBC at the same distance and had no problems. I was getting full speeds.

Is there anyway for Sonic to put the order through regardless?
