| Completely Changing the WRT54G I have seen how people have customised the router using distributions however, i want to completely rehash the way the router works. For example, i only really want to have one client but i want to add a store and forward function for packets which meet a certain criteria. I know exactly how i want to do this but i was just wondering if i were to go and buy one, would there be anything other than my skills and time limiting me?
Cheers folks. | |

| Router Aerial Hi,
Does anyone have experience of fitting higher gain aerial? My Sitecom unit always seems to struggle for signal. I have seen some on Ebay - 7 dBi and 9 dBi with rp sma connectors. Will one of these improve my signal?
Thanks for your help

| Links are incorrect Anyone else noticed that the VPN link and Download link are incorrect. The VPN link goes straight to (or is redirected) Sveasoft homepage and the download link connection is refused. Doesn't Sveasoft require you to register and pay to download their software? If so, why post a DL link in the news message. | |

1 edit | Re: Links are incorrect No, the GPL allows you to charge for your product... just requires that you also provide the source. I'm sure a GPL expert will correct me if I'm wrong, or expand on that statement if necessary.

| wrt54g I've been using this router for 3 years, updated Sveasoft firmware for over a year, after adding the UPS to the router, it has not needed my attention since the reset after updating the firmware. VoIP works perfectly, and noone has yet stolen my identity. | |
