| aol suxs i can agree with most of you. aol in my opinion sucks and the crap that they are bundling with aol 9.0 and aim is a bunch of s$#%. i installed the new version of aim the other day and little did i know that the wildtangent crap was going to be installed. when i noticed that i uninstalled it and it wont come off my computer. called aol about it and they basically told me i was s.o.l. and to piss off. just some advice, use the old aim. also i dont know if anyone mentioned it but you can get the old versions of alot of programs at »www.oldversion.com | |

| 11 more more bad news for those with sun java installed, you have to take 11 more steps because WT is now installing itself their to,

For those of you running Sun Java, you must take extra steps to eradicate WildTangent.
1. Navigate to the folder where you installed java (default is something like C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_04)
2. Open the \bin folder
3. Delete the file jDRM0302.dll
4. Delete the file wtdmmp.dll
5. Delete the file wtdmmpv.dll
6. Go back to the java install folder
7. Open the \lib\ext folder
8. Delete the file wildtangent.jar (duh, how the hell could both Spybot SD and Ad-aware miss this???)
9. Delete the file wtdmmpi.jar
10. Delete the file DRM0302Java.jar
11. Your done, that is until they decide to ‘update’ it again.
