7Mbs, 10Mbs? That's nothing, Verizons NEW Fios (FTTP) service here in the USA will soon go as high as 30Mbs/5Mbs($199.95 per month), As soon as the Fall of 2004 I hear, 15Mbs/2Mbs service is scheduled to be at $49.95 and 5Mbs/2Mbs service is scheduled at $39.95 per month. And Yeah I qualify....

I have optimum online and there are no tiers like RCN and Time warner have? im guessing because when i ordered it, the 9mbs came starndard with a few tweaks, is this all that optimum online offers? |

I find it funny how obvious the cable co's are threatened by FIOS. I mean, Adelphia is widespreading DOCSIS 2.0 and giving security perks, RR is offering 6 down, comcast offering 4 down, RCN to 7 down. Heh, I find this ammusing. |
