I happen to prefer Firefox, you can use IE no one cares.
Go to the IE forum.

Does anyone know if plugin still have a problem working with the new version?

Re: IE ROCKS!

I am getting bored or IE and Fire fox. No matter how fast a computer we have. It still looks and act the same. Browser technology is at a stand still.

Just remember it all came from NCSA Mosaic »archive.ncsa.uiuc.edu/SDG/Softwa···ome.html

New things

quote:
# Live Bookmarks, which help users discover a new dimension to the web by allowing them to create bookmarks that display dynamically updated content such as news headlines. Live Bookmarks let users view RSS feeds, a technology that web content providers use to easily create and disseminate news headlines and summaries. RSS feeds are offered by thousands of sites, including Yahoo News, BBC.co.uk, CNET News.com and most weblogs.
# Plugin finder service: Firefox now includes a plugin finder service that makes it a breeze to install plugins, starting with the Macromedia Flash Player for Windows. Additional plugins will be added in the coming weeks.
# Improved searching within web pages: Firefox now highlights search terms when the user is looking for keywords within a page.

Sounds good for me, espcially the highlight feature wich I guess will be useful as the google cache option.

IE is not bad, it's just over rated and miss funds injection for research and development.

So does Windows. If it did not, people would have installed Linux

Just downloaded and installed Mozilla Firefox 1.0PR. Upgraded from 0.93. Working fine, but I still like IE better...

Mozilla Backup is a great program. Try it out before you install new releases =) Firefox is still a "technology preview"; not ready for primetime! Gotta be careful =)

This happend to me a few times in the past with different browsers, so I wrote a script to backup my bookmarks file and set that local file as my homepage. A little outdated these days I guess, but it's not failed me to date. A little kludgy across different platforms, but I seem to stick with one or the other for extended periods.

We need extention updates!

Just installed 1.0PR. To bad 90% of my extensions no longer work . Hopefully they are patched soon.

BTW - interesting that FF now has an info bar just like sp2 IE. It acts just like IE blocking installs on pages unless you unblock the site.

Mozilla Firefox

I get ninety five percent less spyware by using Mozilla Firefox. Furthermore, I don't have to reboot my computer as frequent, don't experience lock ups or hangs, and enjoy using the tab browsing.
