It's funny because the dialup probably outperforms the satellite connection. |

There were alot of channels feeds on that satellites also.
I was on call this weekend and didnt any calls from customers till about 9:30 am Sunday morning.
WE had 26 channels in total to go out. A&E pod(Bio, ect) IFC, all Adult programming, DIY,Fuse, about half of all of our PPV/InDemand.
Most channels switched over to Telstar 13, which we here had to realign one of our LNBs to be able to see it. -- If guns kill people, then I can blame my spelling mistakes on my keyboard |

Yeah, we lost quite a few (the same I imagine) in Omaha and also switch to Telstar 13, but it took a few hours to do so. Had lots of people calling in because their late night porn wasn't working..... |

Maybe now. Starband will stop sending DNS requests to my company's system.
Even after complaining to them. They could not be bothered to check thier DNS servers. 1000's of request aday are misdirected to our system. We are not a public or private DNS server.
I really felt like setting up a mini-dns server to take those requests and direct them to somewhere very inappropriate. Somewhere like a spam or porn site. But then I said naaa. |
