Business profile?

I wonder where they are getting their business profile info.
My company shows a person who hasn't worked here for 2 years as the contact, and they show my email address on the results page, but if I click on the info button, my email address is not there.
The only way my email address could possibly be related to any public aspect of our company is through domain registrations, and I even use a seperate email address for that.

A search for my email address through Google reveals nothing, but one through Accoona returns a link to all our domains (5).

I know I don't have my email address anywhere on our web site, so I'm rather confused. They should have no awareness of that email address. Accoona searches for other company email addresses come up empty, so they're not just matching the domain name.

learn something

It never ceases to amaze me how so many seemingly intelligent people can make such rediculously stupid assumptions about China. Spy on their people.....make them 'toady' up to the curb
I suggest that everyone stop believing in the rubbish our media and government creates for us to believe about China. Visit there, meet the people, and see for yourselves.
I am a person who keeps my trap shut if I am not informed about a subject, but may tend to speak up when I am informed....which brings to mind another suggestion for a few people.

Visit there? There's a GIGANTIC difference between the perception of what appears to be reality, which is what Western tourists are allowed to see and the reality of tyranny, oppression and repression that is hastily swept (by force, does TianAnMen Square ring any bells?) under the proverbial carpet, lest the whole world gets to witness the reality of the genocidal Communist nightmare.

Mao Tse Tung, Joseph Stalin, Ho Chi Min, Pol Pot, Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il, Fidel Castro, Ernesto "Che" Guevara, Saddam Hussein (Bathist leftist), etc, etc. All of these evil despots, that have been idolized by the "Useful Idiots" of the West, have murdered more human beings than Adolf Hitler and his henchmen could have ever dreamt in their most demonic National Socialists' "perfect world" dreams. Where is the outrage? The double standard of the left is so blatantly obvious, that one would have to be a complete moron (or a lefty, pinko, commy) not to be able to see it.

Yeah, take your own advice...and follow it. I keep in clandestine contact with pro-democracy friends that are currently still trapped behind the bamboo curtain in communist China, I have lived under the tyrannical oppression of Communism. Have you? I think not. Which one of us is therefore more qualified to be considered "informed"?

Have you been there? I have - many times, and for more than 2 months each visit. When I visit there, I am not a tourist. I am my wife's family's guest. I walk the streets, talk to the people, and see a China that very few people in the west bother to try and see. I am not saying it is a perfect life over there, but what I am saying is that everything negative you have heard or learned about China is greatly exaggerated. Tian'men Square is a perfect example - thank you for reminding me. Do you know how many people died? If you do, you know more than the Chinese governemnt knows. And I would like to ask you a question: What would OUR government here in the states do if 10's of thousands of unruley students overtook the area around the White House, or the Capital? I see something very similar to Waco, Texas happening.....meaning, the government wouldn't know what to do for many days, and then the shit would hit the fan.

Where??
I have one more comment to make to you NwkEWR See Profile - for someone who seems to be so caught up in religion - you came on quite strong to me. Maybe you should visit some of the Catholic Churches in Beijing also. There is one very close to Tian'men Square, as well as 17 others in Beijing. Interesting in a country that doesn't "allow" Christianity, don't you think?
I leave for China again in a few weeks, and this year I am armed with a new digital camera. One of my goals this time is to take photos that will put an end to some of the falacies floating around here on BBR....i.e. Google searches, porn websites - government info, etc. I'll tell you what - tell me what you want to see, and I will do my very best to show you.

Wow. It's official. You've gone way too far off the deep end. You've got obvious problems with perception of reality to make that argument.

No outrage? I mean COME ON. This thread sure hit Godwin's Law fast. Maybe it's the record...

Accoona

I have a great story to share about Accoona!!! My Boss gave me a task to "call Pricescan.com and get me a conf call so we can discuss a partnership etc..." I went to the Pricescan.com site but could only find email addresses in their contact section...not good... no phone # I drilled further in the site and still no # to call... so what do I do? Go to Accoona business search!!! typed in Pricescan, retrieved their result (in first spot) on the Biz search result page, AND clicked on their Accoona QuickProfile... and voila, PriceScan.com's phone number, and location, etc... and I was able to reach a contact, speak to them, and fulfill my task, and set up a very important meeting!! The world is certainly a better place with Accoona!!! my "worries were over", Accoona... no worries
