Why?

Why would TIVO ever add this feature??? They should not even be allowed to stop recording of VOD or PPV. Do they not realize that people can just make their own recorders that will not have any protection on them or buy PVR from other countries if they start adding limits on what can be recorded. Could this be the end of TIVO????
