| GoogleNET I actually tend to agree with the speculations that Google might be trying to create their own internet. It makes sense when you look at the services they are intending to provide. It will of course be plugged into the original internet, but accessing it that way will be slower than accessing it directly, and that's where everyone will want to be. I'm a web publisher and my largest checks each month are from Google - sign me up for this too.
What's interesting though is that MS, with all of their vast resources and spare cash that sits relatively idle, has not thought of something similar.
