 This will be cool!

Latency might be a bit higher than a dedicated Ethernet jack but it should be a lot of fun. I can't wait until I can sit at the airport and battle my friends from whatever state I'm at for work!

This will be so much fun!

the way it should be. ..now if some more adult oriented games were actually out instead of pokey-whatever.

Seems like I still like the ol' "N" even though the GC wasn't all that. Hope the new Revolution can still use a 'normal' type controller and mostly ...GAMES...

From what I've heard elsewhere, you can use the old Gamecube controllers

After I heard rareware went to microsoft and no more perfect dark for nintendo (hence why i might get the 360) I thought all was lost...with this new upgrade (which i hope will also be on their new console) it gives nintendo hope.

How can you criticise the game selection for a system that hasn't been released yet?

The same way they criticize great games they won't play cause they have cartoony graphics.

That sucks, I didn't know rareware went to Microsoft. Perfect dark is my favorite game, aside from Zelda. I'll get a 360 for sure if they make a perfect dark for it.

Perfect Dark Zero is already made for the 360, it'll be out on the 360 launch day, November 22.

yep

come on now, cartoony graphics??

nintendogs ring a bell? hes also right about the pokeymon crap, and judging by the library of the games, also right on the Nintendo logo being synonomous with kiddy and 4 player boardgame-style videogames. All this talk'll get trumpt'd by all the hype of the next ulra-violent game coming out on the 360. So pick your poison, you a child molestor or psycho?

Hope it will connect to my secure network

I use WPA on my network, I hope it can connect to that.

I don't understand the people that refuse to play a game unless it has "realistic" graphics. If thats all they care about I've got a great game for them, it's called 'Real Life'.

I'm sure it will handle WEP, but WPA I don't know about...

Re: yep

Why is all this stuff kiddy? Because kids like it? By that logic, Halo is one of the kiddiest games ever. "E" means Everyone, not everyone below 13. At a recent nation-wide Pokemon Emerald tournament, 15 of the 16 quarter(?) finalists were over ...16 I think it was.

Also RE1 has been announced to be remade for the DS, with RE2+ possibly following.

Nintendo is finally getting it.

To bad I've been playing wirelessly online with my PSP since it came out.

Their games library is too soft though. Lots of 'fantasy' stuff, RPG's and the like.

Well I guess you gotta understand that these are the same people who thought Halo (in which they didn't try in the least to hide the fact that 50% of the levels were created solely with the ctrl+c and ctrl+v shortcuts, and the other 50% you get to trudge thru twice) was the bestest game ever.

Rare will be making DS games...

Sorry, but I just had to point this out to those that didn't know already. Rareware is already in development making DS titles. If you don't believe me, just look at their site:

As you can see, they're hiring game programmers to develop future titles for it. Maybe Perfect Dark will happen after all...

Rareware needs

Rareware needs to make some revolution titles. Oh well, I already plan to get both a revolution and a 360. As for DS, they better make some fun games to play wirelessly, and I'll buy one. I'll probably get it just for playing mario kart online....gotta love unsecured wireless at school :-D
