Umm....how? Even in full blown DOCSIS2.0 you'd have a hard time getting past 10Mbps upstream. |

The use of a switching fabric assures data security and network monitoring needed for enterprise telecom services. The Narad architecture evolution will allow 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps symmetric Ethernet to be carried, in the last mile, over any combination of fiber, coax, and wireless transmission media.

Over the weekend i couldn't get anything above 5.5-6mb. Usually I'm pulling 10+.
Maybe (hopefully) it's do to with the upgrade. |

Use your bandwith too long and you'll still get throttled to DSL speeds, I'll bet. -- Life is a journey; death is a given. |

That is $65 a month for 30/2. About $55 a month if you also have more than basic cable and VoIP. I'm getting 30/5 fios for $55.
Also OOL caps if you upload an unspecified amount, and could hardly even keep up with the bandwidth needs of 10/1 connections. I don't see them actually giving 30/2 and allowing you to use it. |

What good is it since if you try to use that kind of bandwidth they will cap you. They still do not allow servers, nor provide a static IP address and not to mention all those lovely port blocks.
If you are in a dense area lets see what happens when you and your neighbors try to use all that bandwidth. But I guess some people will buy into this marketing hype.
VZ FIOS, DSL and their 3rd party DSL providers are still a better deal. |

Exactly. This POS company wil still pull a bait and switch on their loyal customers once you actually put your connection to use. Verizon, get to my neighborhood, CV has lost my respect. |

SBC residential doesn't seem to care about servers. Nor maxing out your connection 24/7. I doubt their customer base is 1%, not to mention the many other dsl ISPs with the same ethics. |
