Well the upload is kind of decent....

2Mbps upload with no price increase sure beats what a lot of other companies offer(besides Verizon FIOS of course).

I am hoping more companies make the move on a upload increase. I am fine with 10Mbps+ but what I think a lot of us want is a slightly higher upload.

You go OOL you never cease to amaze me!

I know there is talk about OOL capping people before for just uploading a small file but I don't care. I rather see for myself to see if its true. I wish I could get OOL and really wish after Hurricane Katrina we would of went to NJ, NY, or CT so we would have OOL lol. Though I know that would never happen because thats a very far drive.

The 50 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload tier is amazing! I really wonder how much it will be ? Even if it is $200 a month like the 30 Mbps/5 Mbps Verzion tier use to be thats still worth it if you get the full 50Mbps download and upload bandwidth or very close!

Can you imagine that speed! Thats the fastest speed you can get in the US!

Look out other countries we are catching up fast in select areas at least, better than nothing, just hate that OOL is a huge ISP that covers everyone or a lot more people. Oh well. We can always move again! lol

Other countries have about 50 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload but 100 Mbps download and upload too.

OPtonline flirting with speed demons...

my friend was online last night @ 3 am nonetheless...and he "accidentally" came across a 3MBPS speed loop for about 5 mins he said...that means the 15Mbps is in rapid test phase in NYC...im guessing OOL is testing their line and making sure that the old coaxials can handle the upgrade and are just making sure their network is stable enough..prob just being safe than sorry...and to restate what someone said earlier..since VZ FiOS isnt going to be in NYC anytime soon why should OOL be overly worried ??? Theyre going to play at the same speed as everyone else...most likely if they upgrade early then it might be sometime in april or may of next yr...my source in cablevision wont confirm but i have a feeling it might be April of 2006.
