| Misguided attempt, Really this is a misguided attempt of the 'radical right' to control tv, they want stricter controls on general audience content.. we've gone from bad to worse (in the eyes of the republicans) from beavis and butthead, to jackass, to southpark, and boondocks.... republican parents just can't rest while they're children are exposed late at night to the "n" word... "f" word that, etc, etc, etc
Well, if it get me able to "NOT BUY ESPN, HOME SHOPPING NETWORK, and that gosh AWFUL CNN talking about those blown up soliders and pissed of KATRINA VICTIMS...." my money can go other places, like my pocket!!

| Enough of the negativism toward televangelists Clearly tel"evangelists" are against this not because of any biblical reason, but to serve their own interests. I'm often ashamed to call myself a Christian when so many act just like the rest of the world. On the other hand, I have to remember that even though we're Christians, we still sin like the rest of the world, although with the relationship with God we should sin less(and I won't go any more into it, that's for PM purposes, hehe). In addition, televangelists should be in favor of a La Carte service because it offers family-friendly service without the hassle of programming the tuner not to get that station with indecent material. Whether cable providers offer a La Carte service is none of a televangelist's business.
Ironically, the FCC has totally changed its stance on A La Carte service. Now why is this?
