| LOL This place kills me.
At&t is jabbering on-and-on about access fees to content providers because they can't afford to build out their networks for what they charge end users for DSL but here they are lowering their rates again.
And what do you guys do? The same people griping about these access fees and the two-tiered Internet, you get all excited for the new low rates.
I hope you enjoy not having competition for your phone, Internet, and cable because if you keep being suckered in by At&t/SBC's dumping they're all you'll have.

| No real savings for me Just called SBC and spoke to them about getting the pro packaged for $18. They said in order for me to qualify for this rate I had to add additional services to my land line, so at the end the TOTAL amount (dsl + landline) was just about the same!
Watta... I still end up paying about $50 for the total a month.... I am paying about $20 for a landline that I use maybe once a week, or not even that
What is my alternative? COMCAST.....hhmmmmm, I don't know My SBC contract is up next month, and Comcast HSI has the 8M/768kpbs for $29.96 for 6 months, then $45, that plus my $14 basic cable bill for a total of $60;)
Thats $10 more for more than double the speed, but NO land line..............Man, these options are getting really confusing here, am I alone on this?
