I am only interested if this card can bypass the so called 2 tier Internet service blockade and give me good service even if Square and Blizzard decide not to pay my ISPs extortion service fee. -- "The enemy is anybody who's going to get you killed, no matter which side he's on." - Joseph Heller |

Having spent a little time in the bizarre and eldritch world of vulture...errm...venture capitalists and tech weenies, I can tell you that it is absolutely amazing the things that get funded and things that don't get a dime. Utter vaporcrap gets office wine cellars and G-IV jets and good stuff goes into the crapper. Every day.
Don't even try to make sense of it, you'll only give yourself a dissecting cerebral anurysm. |

This is absoulte BS. Any hardcore gamer knows the difference between video/hardware lag and internet latency. Try playing on a top notch gaming machine and play on 30 ping and then try that on 200+ ping. Big difference. Get off your 56k connection and upgrade your box. -- OutKast Clan |

I wonder does anyone in that Company Play and MMORPG or FPS Game. I wonder can their Card "Magically" eleminate the "Lag" caused by a Server's CPU runing at 100%..or are they just going to say.."Try another Server". My e-mail to them asked.
Will the Card "fix" dropped packets?
In a MMORPG Game such as SWG a lot of Lag is caused by all the different Characters loading up as well as the Server updating the Zone...how will their Card know what you are about to do?
I assume the card will work best with Games that use "Client side prediction" but will it help someone using a PC with a P5 500,TNT Video card playing Q4? |

This could work in a sense, if it acts as a QoS for a LAN. It would give priority to the gamer traffic, as opposed to your room mates bit torrent traffic.
You can have 1.5mb/384kb....but your gonna bottleneck the minute your upload is saturated, no matter what your download is.
But as a standalong version, I agree, it's impact would be minimal and easily duplicated by free programs such as Dr.TCP. -- My Blog. Because I desperately need the acknowledgement of others. Mainegirl and my Beer Review's SBC DSL |
