| I just tried it on Firefox...
And it nicely prompted me that I needed to install the proper ActiveX control on Firefix.
We're sorry, this feature requires the Mozilla ActiveX Plugin. Click here to install.
Since when did Firefox start being compatible with ActiveX controls??

1 edit | Working for me...albeit slowly....
Tried loading up a Babylon 5 episode and it finally started playing after a couple of minutes. Got annoyed by the "shoop" noises that were played when the toolbar would display (too much Flash stuff!)
Took too long to start playing and I have 9 mb download cable....
Used IE 6.0 with Media Player 10. Has all recent patches installed. Got no errors messages... |

I checked out to see what they had. Pinky and the Brain I knew of but having Freakazoid also was great also. Though its only a few episodes, not all of them |

| AOL wants you to use the Hi-Q option for full screen video
If you look on the page that comes up when you pick a series to watch, instead of using the Macromedia Flash viewer, you can choose to use the Hi-Q full screen video option. It uses the kontiki P2P app to delver DVD quality video to your PC. This is the option I am sure they are pushing. Here is an explanation. But it needs Windows/XP, IE6 or later, WMP10, & activeX. »television.aol.com/in2tv/high_quality_video -- -- Join Red Room Forum BLOG tkjunkmail.blogspot.com My Web Page |

| Less ads
Couldn't you just get these re-runs on bittorrent, and skip the DRM, commercials, and AOL hype? Since they want to give them away free on the net, torrents would only be too hapy to oblige. This will keep dupes away from the aol-time-warner sucking machine, aimed at your wallet. Free isn't free, when ads permeate the thing. |

After allowing the install, about:plugins shows
Mozilla ActiveX control and plugin support File name: npmozax.dll Mozilla ActiveX control and plugin module which seems to be this (which I've read about before, but briefly): »www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/plugin.htm
Google on the DLL name reveals more... KM

what a joke.... my "computer" is just fine, but I get a screen saying that my 'computer' doesn't meet requirements. why do so many people think that IE is the only browser on earth? and further, why can't this work just as well on ANY operating system? Really getting sick of being forced to use Windows' phone home, ugly, clunky, generic "media" player software for so many things. Why shun linux/mac users?
AOHell can keep it. |

I tried F-Troop. It played without any problems. I even tried the Hi-Q (with active X plugin) and that played just fine too. However, It doesn't seem to show where it's downloading the file too. Also, by default, it starts when windows starts. |

I had to use the IE Tab extension because as already explained, it only likes Bill Gate's products.
I will play with it later at home, once I get away from the full T1 I am using here at work. |
