That's shitty marketing.

And I actually thought they would increase their capacity and possibly lower their prices. So much for that.
Isn't $80 for "unlimited" service already a premium? It takes some guts for them to think they can get away with charging more. Now if they would let me join for $50.00/mo. with a leased EVDO card included, unlimited service and only a 6 month contract, then maybe I would consider signing up.
As long as they require a long-term contract I won't even consider it. |

You mean UMLIMITED... notice the UMM... If they advertise a service as unlimited downloads and the consumer pays top dollar for that service (as I understand it, its the highest plan you can get), then they can't get mad when people actually use it to its fullest.

This is the old buffet "all-you-can-eat!", "unlimited refills" argument all over again. Just because it's "unlimited" trips to the salad bar doesn't mean you can give food to your friends outside the restaurant. |
