| Smart Company that Nintendo... Like others have said, Nintendo has got some great marketing skills! Releasing the crazy name weeks before E3 will give a little time to allow for the "wii-wii" jokes to get old, and then every body wil "ooo-ahh" over the console when push comes to shove!
What great marketing... Everybody and their dog, and their cat has heard in the last 10 hours the name nintendo! What a great way to spread your product on a fast track!
I plan on (If the check book allows) buying one on launch day, even though I thought Revolution was a sweet name. Im not choosing my console because of a name. I am choosing the Wii because Im a nintendo fan. Straight up.

They had a great idea to have a system to play all games from the first old nes. Then they wanna make a stupid remote. Hell even Mortal Kombat producer said they don't even have an idea of how to make a game for it. Said it has one big B button LMAO.  | |

So what they are trying to do is get donation so they can trademark it first and then blackmail Nintendo to either change the name or pay up.
