| what happened to dlink, netgear and buffalo N products?
I heard about a week or two ago that dlink, netgear and buffalo were releasing wireless-N products. What happened to those hitting the store shelves? I see that both netgear and dlink have them listed under their products, but I cannot find them on any online stores. Any word on these? |

All those wireless routers have to be built and then shipped over from China to get in the stores. Give it a few weeks, then they should start to appear. -- -- Join Red Room Forum BLOG tkjunkmail.blogspot.com My Web Page |

| Pre-n is good
I bought my gf a netgear pre-n card.
Pre-n equipment is awesome. always full speed on a 802.11g router. Always full signal.
The bad part is that I bought a netgear card. their driversd are horrid and like to conk out on dell laptops.
Anyway once the belkin products come out ill buy them in an instant.
If the n spec products are better then the pre-n spec ones then It will be awesome |

How or why is Belkin better? It's not even worth asking that question. His post is totally unqualified. Similar post of his are of the same type. He likes Belkin, so you should too. That's about the extent of that reasoning. -- :: my trivial ramblings :: |

Nothing like a good ole, reliable piece of Belkin. Im pretty sure I can crap on my wireless usb, wipe my ass with the router, flush both pieces down the toilet, go to the sewage treatment facility, reclaim my waste, wash them in clorine BLEACH, plug em and STILL have em working in tip-top shape. |

| as a matter of fact, I wouldnt even have to wipe off my fecal matter; it'd serve as a secondary physical firewall against my envoius buddies.
Im also a firm believe in, if it works, and works, and you try to f'it-up, but it still works, stick with the company. THATS how you gain customer loyalty. Plus their products are cheap in price compared to the bogus Netgears and Linksys plug and pray your first click doesnt demolish your pc products. |

Just to trash this statement.
I install networks for major corporations, AND run a Consulting firm for 25+ YEARS (51 MCSEs and Cisco certs). WE NOT ONLY TEST ALL AVAILABLE ROUTERS under very stringent conditions, but also use them ourselves in our own houses before recommending to anyone. So that is all I have to say about that... |

Are you kidding me? Routers aren't for Internet solely, they use them for file transfer between local PCs. |
