| BPL - Bypass Power Lines
The acronym BPL will be changing its meaning from Broadband over Power Lines to Bypass Power Lines if it doesn't get any momentum soon. Other broadband options, especially wireless 3/4G and Wimax will soon make BPL a non-starter almost everywhere. -- -- Join Red Room Forum BLOG tkjunkmail.blogspot.com My Web Page |

that just heightens expectations. I say just go with two thousand'ish (2000'ish). That way you have a whole century to actually complete your intended goal. -- "Sir SIR! We don't use DHCP servers. We only use IBM & Microsoft servers." From there my call to tech support went steadily downhill. |

I took it, got loaded, and crashed it into a high tension power line tower.

| 2006 the year of BPL??
Well, considering the advancement and deployment of other and much better technologies, I sure as hell would'nt bet on it. Just remember this:
-BPL connections are in the thousands,vs the millions for DSL and cable, Im sure wireless has to be at least in the tens-of thousands. - Network with class-do it with glass -- Friends don't let friends use home edition anything! |
