wow, i hope the statute of limitations isn't long, i only graduated from high school 7 yrs ago...
no, but seriously, what's the big deal... think back to when you were that young or think about your kids, would you rather them look at porn, or go out and do the real thing... |

God Damn it only in Minnesota would we get all hissy and pissy about it. Geez it's not the end of the world, the kid could of done the samething with a laptop or wireless PDA.
I point blame at the school for leaving a wireless network open to anyone and not properly installing some kind of nanny software on top of it.
I don't see what the big deal is and sadly I'm more and more hating this news station I watched it alot but now thye seem to spin everything for the worse. For example on last night they say iraqi soliders "slaughted" innocent people in a car that didn't stop.
On another channel they said the car didn't stop and that soliders have the right to fire if they feel threatened.
Sorry to go off topic it's just annoying is all that it seems like Minnesota is looked upon as a liberal state where if you utter the word boob people are going to start yelling at you.
Plain in simple the network should of been more secure and had a WEP key and net filter installed to prevent this from happening. Oh and the kid should do it outside of school. -- "Sure there have been injuries and deaths in boxing - but none of them serious."- Alan Minter, Boxer"I get to go to lots of overseas places, like Canada."- Britney Spears, Pop Singer |

Seriously, though, I am unaware of any felony charges that exist for two students who are having sex. I honestly think it is ridiculous. -- Bring back chicken and potato chips - Vote Perot! |

I can understand why a library might have free open access, but why the hell would a public school? They should have some kind of security or nanny type program. -- "There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots" |

Or may be the other way around. Dad is asking sonny boy where he is getting his porn. Don't forget kids are much more accepting/savy with tech than most parents are these days. |

What a nutcase. Is Microsoft responsible for kids being able to access pornography on their PC as well? |

Sony, the maker of the PSP, told us that parents should be responsible for monitoring the content their children are viewing. They should let parents know that their product could give a kid easy access to pornography.
Can you see it now, all electronic devices--Computers, Portable gaming devices, networking equipment and cell phones--would carry a little warning sticker like cigarettes, "This device may be used to view pornographic material. Please use responsibly, and in accordance with local laws." |

Its not just Minnesota...Down in Houston you never hear about all the political corruption, and other serious problems that abound. Its stories like this that they use to divert attention away from real news. Houston local stations cant get off real stories fast enough. |

| Whos is David Walsh?
I have two questions:
1) What organization is David Walsh associated with?
2) Why in the heck are they letting kids bring portable game systems to school anyway? What useful purpose can it serve? If the kids have so much free time at school just send them home, the schools don't need to become nannies too.
I also have to wonder about the "journalist" who wrote the article. Besides mentioning that David Walsh is with the National Institute on Media and the Family about five times there was some very poor grammar in the article as well. Is this what the Minnesota school system is producing?

David Walsh of the National Institute on Media and the Family should also be sure everyone is warned that such products could give a kid easy access to the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. Wouldn't want them getting all revolutionary, would we? -- Toolmaster of La Grange. |

Just because its not allowed doesnt mean people dont bring them. Also, Kids need some freetime at school and you dont need a 'lot' of time to play PSP if its even allowed. -- I throw bricks at the devil. |
