Uh yeah, sounds great. So what speed test site can I test the 50 Mbps to see if it's really that fast? 
I wouldn't mind the 5 Mbps upstream though. |

Hell yeah! Me to! Wow 50/5 is pretty sick.. Immagine downloading thats what approx 5+ megabytes a sec easy. I would just get the 15/2 I wouldent utalize 50 enough to be enough but god if you had a home buisness or something or did alot alot alot of downloading this would be VERY useful  |

20 Mbps downstream and 5 Mbps upstream (increased from 15/2 in May) $44.95 a month with a one-year agreement or $49.95 month-to-month.
Now that is a great price for great speed. Too bad Fios not available in my area yet.

I would go all out and get the 50/10 for $90/month... so much bandwidth... and 10Mbps of upload would be freakin sweet... WHY MUST THEY BE SO CRUEL AND NOT OFFER IT EVERYWHERE?!?! ITS JUST NOT FAIR!!!

If this doesn't show how BAD AT&T's Uverse strategy is, nothing will.
Verizon from day one has had the right idea to go with fios versus grandma bells pieced together copper/fiber strategy.
If the death star isn't careful, they're soon going to find themselves obsolete in the face of what cable co's and telcos like verizon are rolling out.
Edit: btw, 89.95 in NY versus 139.95 in Ct. and Jersey ?

I've seen the speed tests here push out 28mbps at work where we have a DS3 (45mbits), but never much more. You would have to go out and download a couple of files at the same time from sites known to be fast to really test the connection. Several linux ISOs would probably do it.

Stop complaining, this is the first company to make this giant leap toward coming into phase with the rest of the modern world. Although they arent quite there yet. That price will need to drop to about 30$ a month to match foreign offerings. |
