So who is going to hold the City of Tampa accountable for their shoddy job in keeping track of where these lines are buried?
Perhaps Verizon should just skip Tampa even if their ban is lifted because the fiber optic cable is very likely to be damaged by another utility because of this problem.

It's not Verizon as much as it is their contractor Mastec. When they laid the lines here they cut off my RoadRunner. When I went to confront them no one spoke English.
But the service is awesome, internet is twice as fast as Roadrunner ever was (even though they claimed the same speed). And they are the best deal for HD tv outside of DirecTV |

are you shre you have the right name, bc Mastec is also the name of a DirecTV HSP (read: subcontractor) that installs their systems. Perhaps there is more to this? |
