as soon as the government started to repeat the AT&T talking points, I knew it was all over. All the false claims they made "lower bills, increase competition, speed innovation" might as well be true, cause nobody cares anymore. In another two years, someone will introduce new "lax" law reforms regulating industries that hand over truckloads of cash to politicians, and we will hear it all over again, and nothing will change for us, only to the pockets of telco investors. |

...that cable prices in Texas, at least as far as I've been able to determine, haven't dropped as promised. Admittedly, this is anecdotal, but pricing would be one of the things this committee was supposed to look at. |
