| Well, what do they exepct?!?! They are TEENS! They go to school, work part-time jobs, lose their jobs, do not work for a certain time because of school, lose their phone...
As for university students: they are forced to become mature because they might move out or get a loan...
So really, Virgin Mobile got the right stuff for teens...

| Amp'd Mess. I was a customer of amp'd from April 2006 until yesterday. I'm not much for the content, but I was all for pulling crap with their CSR's. I was able to get a Verizon XV6700 put on my account (told them it was a "jet" phone when I swapped the ESN) and thus had Verizon coverage, with 500 minutes of talk time, and unlimited EVDO data (including tethering) for $45 a month.
I just jumped ship and got a Sprint SERO plan with the Q, which is a VERY good deal as well.
For a long time, I was an amp'd fan, because they represented some great milestones for the wireless industry (3g prepaid, hybrid, no-contract plans, etcetera), but I think they deserve whatever they've got coming to them by this point. Peter Adderton, founder of boost and Amp'd CEO, had a great idea, but it was poorly executed, and without the proper safeguards.
