Ebay, once great, is now nothing but a PITA for legitimate sellers and buyers. Fees are ridiculous. They shove PayPal down their throats. Ebay is going to say anything to make its $3 billion acquisition look "good." Just think, they could have waited and bought Vonage for $500 million.

my install is 9 megs not 22, and yup it uses around 50 megs of ram. but isnt that why i have ram in my computer so i can use it ? always cracks me up when people carry on about a program using ram, its what they are supposed to do !
now if it was using 50% cpu or something i would bitch.....

| 1 Million Users Two Years Ago...
When I started using Skype about two years ago, maybe longer for it was long before EBay, the "...people online" stat at the bottom of the Skype window was about 1.5 Million folks. When, in the middle of a day, the number got up to 2.5 million the service suffered a bit.
Now it's routinely over 9 million and it's been over 10 million users online occasionally. And the service has been flawless.
What kind of growth are they looking for beyond that? 600% or 700% should work.  |
