Because fiber is already running thru railroad train tunnels now. Subway tunnels, who knows??
But fiber is already running up and down all the streets of Manhattan already. All the major businesses already have fiber connections.

I was on my way across the Bay Bridge Friday on my way back from vacation in the Outerbanks and saw the barge, but thought it was for repairs. Who would have known they were running fiber across the Bay???

The LIRR/MTA also has fiber down just about every single inch of in use tracks too. The guys who we contract to do fiber runs in our building(s) are the same company who does their installs. |
