If trouble reading .DOC files from FCC

You can go and download the MS Word Viewer 2003 from here:

And then if you want to be able to read MS OFFICE 2007 docs as well, you can also download the free upgrade to read them here:

And then run Microsoft Update to pick up the latest security updates for MS Office viewer:

Or you can read the FCC doc in Adobe Acrobat PDF format:
»hraunfoss.fcc.gov/edocs_public/a···15A1.pdf

additional public comment?

what for?

The FCC doesn't appear to have paid the slightest attention to the previous public comments, why should we expect them to pay attention to more public comments?

to the best of my knowledge, this FCC has never paid much attention to the needs of the public and I don't expect it to start doing so now.

They want to give the ATT/Verizon/etc. backed Astroturf groups more time to submit their bullshit about how the existing providers should be the one's to get the spectrum... [sarcasm]After all, we don't need any more competition in the wireless business, there's plenty. [/sarcasm]

I thought Googel was going to buy it.

Isn't Google going to buy the spectrum for 4.8 billion and then let anyone use it for any thing they want.

Google is going to give the leeches a free blood lunch.
