1 edit | US PSP users no joy - these aren't coming to US
Looks like Sony and BT have big plans for the PSP and PS3 around the world. But when you read the news stories, it looks like the only thing that may make it to the US is the GPS Nav system. -- -- Internet News My BLOG My Web Page |

| F' Sony...
Yup, after being through 2 PS2s (slim versions) due to overheating (something they claimed isn't a design flaw), and their root-kit DRM stunt... I avoid Sony like the plague. I wouldn't even use their products to wipe my ass with! -- Respectfully, X_Digit |

Back On Topic... GPS will be cool on a PSP! Someone will "import" the VoIP software - watch! -- Think outside the Fox... Opera |

Sony makes alot of chips for Tv's including plasma and lcd. no computer for you then. |

| reply to dadkins Done... just wiped my ass with it to. I'll reply later, when I return from the emergency room! =P
My opinion, inventing something (as a partner company, btw) and licensing that invention... and purchasing the product from another manufacturer, is a bit different.
Just because Microsoft invented the "smiley" (smirk), doesn't mean I'd stop posting on forums and using them if I wished to boycott their products and / or services! =S -- Respectfully, X_Digit |

Get a clue, guys... I think you understood (or, I'm hoping for your future sakes) where I was coming from in that post.
EDIT: Waiting for the "OMG... you're right, better stop breathing response." since you two are just SO original.

| reply to X_Digit Man, I swear a lot of you guys come up with the craziest excuses for not owning anything Sony...
You've been through 2 Slim line PS2's? You mean the ones that are like 5 years younger then my perfectly working old ass dusted PS2?
Don't mean to pick on you, but on internet message boards, this is the norm; some crazy ass problem going wrong with PSx's, PS2's, PSP's, PS3's...but ain't a damn thing wrong with a Wii. Lol.
It seems to me, uhh, most you guys go off-roading with your PS2's? lol. get the hell outa here with that..lol |

| reply to X_Digit Eff it, I'll play....?
So you went through 2 slim PS2's...no more Sony products?
They hit nail to head; so the products gotta have a Sony sticker on it for you "not to buy it"? You've been schooled on many electronics that got Sony ish in em, and well, I guess too you gotta throw all that "crap" away, huh...:) |

said by X_Digit :..and their root-kit DRM stunt... You said being a partner is diff then being the company, well the rootkit was put out by sony music. Sony music is run by completely diff. portion of company then what makes ps2. You dont mind using chips of theres in OTHER equipment like you said so why should the DRM issue have any bearing what-so-ever on PSP usage.
To keep on topic I am looking forward to this. I loves my PSP. |

Not that there's anything wrong with being into games and such...

After about twenty years of Sony products this is the end of Sony for me. Short story: almost all poop produced by Sony in last 6 years gave me nothing but disappointment.

| Nice trick
Who the F&*k would want a GPS positioning device in a toy? What purpose does it serve other than to track you?
Talk about an invasion of ones privacy. There is certainly enough heated debate on privacy as it is. Now a corporate giant rolls out a gimmick to trick people, into accepting a new ploy designed to get one comfortable with big brother watching, every place one takes his shiny new toy. -- Come on crazy mutant desert men, just because they got Jr. in the car doesn't mean they have Bud on the car. |
