Why "boring" channels should be allowed to exist

I'd like to point out that there is a benefit to allowing to exist certain channels like C-SPAN and others that you may never watch yourself because you find them boring. Lucky for you, there *are* people who are willing to watch the "boring" stuff that you're too impatient or self-absorbed to care about. We all benefit from society having a segment that is well educated and plugged into public policy issues.

A la carte will put pressure to eliminate those channels that may be high value to society but low entertainment value.

A La Carte

I still have what is left of A La Carte from NPS it was AWESOME in the beginning, about $70.00 per YEAR got me Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Sci Fi, Discovery, TV Land, CMTV and many others, there were also free feeds that totalled around 85 channels for $70.00 per YEAR!! I work hard for my money and don't like to subsidize someone elses desires.
