Can AT&T Carry 3G-4G, Wifi, or WiMax over the 700Mhz line? If they can than I'm one happy guy. |

12 MHz isn't exactly 'huge'. Most standard PCS license are 10MHz. In most markets (any that have 3G anyways), AT&T typically has at least 45MHz of cellular/PCS spectrum
Here's the license map »www.alohapartners.net/images/Alo···1-05.pdf -- Canada = Hollywood North |

My guess is that they will offer Wi-Max on the IPhones and as an alternate to their traditional Internet services. They won't be able to switch their existing cell customers to Wi-Max until other carriers offer the same for roaming purposes. |

Ah crap. I knew that, I was cutting and pasting it from somewhere else and I must of accidentally deleted the middle part. I'll fix it, thanks. |

| This isnt helping
ATT could own the entire spectrum but they still couldn't deliver a wireless network that doesn't suck as much as theirs does.
And I'm in the greater Los Angeles area and not in the boonies and I can't even get calls that don't drop while driving down major freeways.
Way to go ATT. I think your priorities are whacked.
How about customer demand for a wireless network that isn't sucktastic in major metroplitan areas??? Growing demand? How about serving the people you already have in a decent manner?
Insert Democratic yell here. Arg.

| I would be happy if they would fix my 3G connection.
What's the point of them getting all this new stuff when they can't even get what they currently have working!

$2.5B is a lot to pay for 14Mhz.
Sprint has 100mhz in the 2.5Ghz spectrum and now doesn't know what to do with it. |

Att quality depends on where you live. Here on long island att service is the same as verizons. (we are on an island so not alot of places to put towers)
I rather them use this for data. MY call quality is very good but data stinks. I wish they would get off their butts and finish deploying 3g to long island. |
