"hey -- im u pilot -- u b rolf 2 c the qt up here in my lap. C U on the ground l8r. yahoo 2cool eh" -- 50% of Americans vote - 30% are repugs -- do the math.
So let me get this straight...You can only get to Yahoo and Yahoo IM, right? Oh, you can use a crackberry. So the lure for those that don't use those services is.....?
why is getting the internet on planes is taking FOREVER? i know cost is the main thing, but there is a huge market for this especially on long haul flights. even if the speeds are "FCC Broadband" at 128k, that is at least something.
As a private pilot and someone who flies on JetBlue for free. This announcement just made the airline even more appealing. I fly at least twice a month, and really wouldnt mind being able to kill time by chatting with my friends back on terra firma or who knows, having the ability to catch up on work. Im just wondering if they are also equipping the planes with in-seat power outlets, now that could make things even better.
