1 edit | Reciept Fee This kinda reminds me of the gas station chain that tried to charge customers for their receipts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Paying a bill should be part of doing business. This is like charging an oxygen usage fee when you enter a building that employs an air filtration system.
This is simply asinine, where does it stop?
I need to aquire a permit to sell carpet walkage time for when people come over, then make up plans on how many steps they can take while at my business. Of course we need an unlimited plan, but I still have to work on what would be an acceptable hidden cap. Those who go over the cap, have to be carried out of the store, by my hired carriers, Oh wait, Now we need to charge you an over-usage, and carry-out fee.
I'd like to know how long people will continue to take the beatings, and play the back-down.
COME ON PEOPLE, We need to show these corporate entities that WE pay their checks, and that there is a point at which charges are simply assessed because of GREED, and cease to be essential for the maintenance and continued operation of the company!
[edited for redundancy]. Redundancy Fee $4.97 and 3/10ths, Due by Yesterday.

| Billing Errors..... So in other words, when they "foul up" and screw up your bill, and of course, the automated system will only let you pay your fouled up bill, you have to "desire" a human rep to get the problem fixed..... so welcome to the fee.... for their screwup.

| 5.00 bucks for this.. is a total ripoff. I can see charging something for taking a rep's time but this is outrageous.
Comcasts at 4.00 bucks..while more reasonable..is too high as well.
A buck or two would be much more fair. -- The Coyote captured the RR! Roadrunner Rick is now Comcastic!

| Fine, AT&T you do that, AT&T, ALL YOUR DOING is driving "loyal" customers away
As mentioned I have EVERY option I can get with AT&T,9except networking & u verse),but if your going to charge me to talk to a human being, and trying to take advantage of people, Then be aware that EFFECTIVE, on 03/01/2008,
ANYTIME a call is received from AT&T or customer service the sum of $4.00 will be discounted from my monthly phone bill in addition to this charge, an additional discount of $2.00 will be added for each question AT&T rep asl that requires an answer.
the way I see your new rules, is
I might as well do to you WHAT your trying to do to me & other customers, the only difference is that i'll kiss you.
Last we checked, cable controlled roughly 70% of the VoIP market, a number we're sure has risen since the stellar fourth quarter VoIP additions most cable providers reported. AT&T, Verizon, Qwest and Embarq are collectively losing roughly 2.6 million landline customers per quarter, and about half of those users are converting over to cable VoIP. All told, cable operators now report more than 13 million phone customers. While the price of cable VoIP is steep compared to indie VoIP, customers say they're more satisfied with phone service from their cable provider than from their phone company. -- I TRIED to be FRIENDS with MANY,, Wary OF A "SELECT" FEW and I'll always be an enemy to some, REGARDLESS of what we do.
