I see a lot of decreases in that list!
But note what I find really killer is the $15.99 HD DVR fee? WTF?
My DTV HD DVR is $5.99/month. |

I never saw New York mentioned on this list. Does New York even have FiOS TV yet as it's not in my area, that's for sure. As for the price hikes, it's starting to get more expensive. Let's see how things go as for the prices if they keep going up. And these price hikes seem to be anything to do with TV, but yet again, these hikes are most likely being caused by gas prices and the economy doing poor again. |

I really think they are trying to price themselves into the tivo area to make much more cash flow on the box rental like cable co's have done.
I was looking at homes and found a couple with FIOS, I tell ya I was thinking about just getting a tivo HD hack it to add a hdd array and maybe a couple cable cards for my other tv's instead of the boxes. -- "It's always funny until someone gets hurt......and then it's absolutely friggin' hysterical!" |

This is my package:
Freedom Essentials + FiOS 5Mbps/2Mbps + FiOS TV Premier (two-year commitment) increased from $104.98 to $115.98
I signed a 2yr contract. Does this mean that they are breaking the contract and i'll see this increase?

I agree that is way too high. Someone here correct me if I am wrong, but couldn't most of us here build our own NEW computer HD-DVR for $383.76 "that wouldn't be taxed every month" every 2 years. Not to mention the resell value would have to better on what I would build vs. what I have to give back to them. Also The HD-DVR that i would build would have a lot of features theirs does not, and I am sure a much larger hard drive. So if I am wrong let me know. |

Our Triple Bundle went from $99 to $104 in Jan. Unless there is something more recent, I suspect the "cable competitors" might be thinking wishfully. |

It would go up when your contract term expires. |

@comcast.net | reply to hopeflicker check your contract a lot of provider put in there contract a sentence that say we reserve the rights to change packages and price whenever we see fit without notice. i have seen this sentence in a lot of contact with almost all providers. |

I love FIOS!
They forgot the 50mbps/20mbps package here too for $187/month with TV. Not bad if you need that type of bandwidth.
