They better find shelter

Due to there is more radition in the air from the Sun, and Space, then there is from Radio waves. Matter of fact, I hear that Reynolds Aluminum has a good price on Tin Foil Body Suits.

Re: They better find shelter

ive always kind of questioned the tinfoil hat thing, i mean ive used Tinfoil to improve reception of a pair of rabbit ears before so it must infact act like an antenna!

Electromagnetic Radiation

I guess these groups/individuals aren't aware the earth has been bombarded with the entire range of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum for billions of years.

IEEE 802.11x transmits as radio waves. How many years have radio stations around the country been broadcasting their signals?

Wow

How can someone think WiFi effects health? Lets see what about TV & radio signels?

Re: Wow

You might as well say 'what about microwave ovens?'. Do they have no effect on meat either?

You probably need to read up on the concept of 'frequency'.

And the word you're looking for is 'affects'. No-one that I know of is claiming that Wi-Fi 'effects' health.

I want to be a lawyer for the other side....

I would ask the following questions:

- Do you use cell phones?

- Do you use a microwave oven either at home and/or at work?

- Do you use cordless phones? If so, what models are they?

If any of those answers are yes (and the cordless phones are newer models), then both of them need to be counter-sued for bringing a frivolous lawsuit and have to pay for all litigation costs.

You are trying to apply logic to a group that defies it. It is a fool's errand.

Add using a car (onboard computers and the radio antenna), having any walwart power regulators/transformer bricks, having a TV, etc.

Maybee A Simple Explanation.

Ok here goes what may be affecting these people and the bees. May be there is some RF from some overheating/leaking capacitors {like right now the computer that i am using @ the moment has a defective capacitor in the flat screen monitor's power supply when its on i can hear it squealing when its off it does not make any noise.} And what could be happaning is the RF EMI what ever you wish to call it could be radiating though the airwaves and bouncing off wirless antenna's Especially if it is a faulty Power transformer that supplies Electricity on the grid and those can brodcast the interference/squealing noise for a few miles for those that can hear that frequency range kinda like dogs can hear dog whistles. Simplest theory i can think of.
Note: Not every one can hear this type of interference & before anyone says anything i have read that there is other people on this forum that can hear faulty capacitors as well.

Re: Maybee A Simple Explanation.

You can't hear RF, if by RF you mean what is commonly meant, an electromagnetic signal, rather than just any signal in that frequency range.

I'm willing to believe that a failing capacitor might make a high-pitched sound, but that doesn't make it RF. (See also the high-pitched noises from fluorescent tube circuits, etc.)

I'm amused by the idea that you consider this hodge-podge to be a 'simpler' idea than the fact that some people are sensitive to the Wi-Fi signal directly (I don't think the evidence supports that conclusion, but that's neither here nor there).

Some of the half-arsed postings by people pooh-poohing the complaints are no better thought out than many of the more lunatic ravings on the tin-foil hat side of the argument.
