"Same Old Phone Company"

Part of the ad that I see posted is a quip about FIOS is being delivered by the same old phone company.

Based on the comments I am seeing about Verizon's billing, this has to ring true. They may have the technical side nailed down, but the back office stuff is a mess. Why else is a customer assigned a personal champion when (s)he calls in with a billing problem?

TW has been running 'fiber' ads for over a year

TW has been advertising fiber for well over a year. They say they have the most advanced fiber network in the country. It is usually during the digital phone ads.

No Fios by me either and I refuse to go with U-Verse.
