| Re: Rather it be Verizon that AT&T!! said by N10Cities :I am on Alltel and am very happy with their services. LOVE the My Circle plan! Use up VERY little of my plan's minutes that way.... Back on topic, I MUCH rather have Verizon buy Alltel than AT&T. I hate AT&T with a purple passion on the way they have treated me in the past. Don't hear good things about Verizon's billing, though.... Verizon Wireless' billing is fine and pretty accurate. You may be confusing it with Verizon Communications' with their alleged FiOS billing issues. | |

| Re: Here comes an EVDO cap..... said by hdman :Alltel is about the last man standing in the EVDO arena that DOESN'T have a cap on its EVDO service. Not that I ever get close, but I still think it is a nice touch. Yep, and no govt entity will ever notice all the cell carriers are copying each other's anticonsumeristic policies. | |

| ;( I was an old Cellular One customer before they were bought by alltel in 2005.
I wonder if verizon will let me keep my 1200 anytime minutes, free mobile2mobile, and free night/weekend plan for the $39 a month i pay now.
So far alltel has... and i hope that doesn't change if Verizon buys them out. -- The insects are huge and the poison's all been used, and the drugs won't kill your day job

2 edits | Great My old cell one contract is up in July and AT&T took them over, I want out so bad. I was planning on switching to Alltel but now I'll just be sucked into another fathead, couldn't care less what the customer wants, monopoly. Sprit maybe but with my luck Spring will become the new AT&T soon.
EDIT: And I'm sure one of the pigs will buy T-Mobile too, then I'll only have 3 choices. Monopoly 1 or Monopoly 2. In 2006 when I signed another 2 years with Cell one I had my choice of: CellularOne (RIP), Alltel, Cingular (RIP), T-Mobile, Verizon, & Sprint. -- Need a DJ within 60 miles of Youngstown, OH? | This completely sucks.. I've been an Alltel customer since they took over Cellular One here. The service has been great and I don't have any complaints what-so-ever.
Now, don't EVEN get me started with Verizon. I hope that us Alltel customers get "Grandfathered" in like they did with Cellular One.
As for Verizon's data plan, I might look into a data card before the merger happens. That way I get to keep my unlimited data plan (hopefully). -- Bresnan 15M/1M|Mine[P4 2.4GHz,3GB RAM,80+160+100+40GB HDDs,WinXP]|Wife's[Duron 2.15GHz,1GB RAM,40GB HDD,WinXP]|Router[2xP3@1GHz,640MB RAM,18GB HDD,Allied Telesyn AT-2560FX,Kingston KNE100TX,2xDigital DE504,Compaq NC3131,iPro/1000DP,Blitz BWI715 w/Gentoo]
