legal spyware?

let's see...
spyware/maleware can:
-disable your pc
-log everything you do
-download more infections to your pc
-render programs in operable
-etc, etc

this looks more like a bill to legalize spyware, so they can get away with this. what they want to do is the same thing spyware/maleware does. that's why they dont have a "definition" yet of what spyware is.

Thank God (or Steve Jobs) for MacOS

I'm not using any anti-virus software. Nor have I done so for 10 years. I haven't encountered viruses, "Spyware" or "malware" since then. I do, however, lock down my LAN against intruders (and neighbors). I never take security warnings lightly.

Microsoft makes an OS that's fundamentally weak on security (and obscenely strong on DRM). They're not locking the right doors. Nor do they invite the user to make a security decision at the right moment.

Go ahead: Claim that Apple is "fringe" or insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Fact is, it's a stable, logical, UNIX-based system with inherent defense against intruders.
