For AT&T to offer something like this ... oh wait, they don't want to sell Internet only Uverse. As their sales people have typically told me 'Uverse Internet requires TV service, which is Internet based'. Sort of a cart before the horse answer. -- Canada = Hollywood North |

Here in SoCal we still have 5/2, 15/2, 15/15 and 30/15 as our options. No 20Mb plan yet. It would be nice to get bumped from 30Mb to 50Mb. |

1 edit | Dry Loop?
Since there is no land line phone service required, does this price hold for dry loop customers? Can I get 450 minutes, DSL and no POTS line for $69.99.???
I assume the 15% Wireless discount I get through my employer can not be stacked on top of this?

When I bundled my services through Verizon, I saw the 15% monthly discount for the wireless service, and regular price for the other services (I ended up using DirecTV, Verizon POTS, and Verizon Wireless). Will it count for the entire total? Nope. |

@verizon.com | reply to pende_tim The bundle does include dry loop. You would take your cell fone plan, add $30 for the dry loop (3 meg) and that's ur total bill plus tax. And it comes combined on one bill. |

| i signed up for FIOS last month and didn't want to get the lan line but it was cheaper to get the bundle. I already had Verizon wireless as my cell carrier too.
Anyone know if it's possible to switch at this point.. I am guessing no as I'd have to terminate my 2 year contract. |

in NYC, I get dryloop 3mb dsl from verizon $40 no tax then I get 500min SERO phone from Sprint for $30 +tax, so to "switch" to verizon's $70 "double play" would be a waste of effort (unless I wanted their network). were I not SERO, Sprint has a 450min plan for $40 +tax, so it may still not be worth switching just to save $10. |

My 3mb DSL is 29.99 and my 450min cell plan is $39.99. This deal costs me a penny more than what I'm already paying. |

| Has Anyone with Dry Loop DSL Tried to Sign Up?
I have dry loop DSL, no Verizon home phone and Verizon wireless phone. I have found it impossible to sign up for this package.
When I try to create a Verizon login account, it asks for a Verizon home phone number or, if no home phone, the Verizon billing number for the DSL. When I put in the DSL billing number, it says they are unable to assist me. Of course, you dial the 800 number listed on the error message and either never get through to a live person or you get bounced to someone who starts transferring you around saying that "the wireless people need to assist you." or "The sales group needs to assist you." or "I've never heard of that bundle. You must need to do it online." I even got one who argued with me that my number had nothing to do with Verizon and I was clearly not a customer.
I've been trying to sign up for this bundle since the day it was announced and have not found anyone who can help me.
I guess its great to say you have a bundle to attract new customers but God help existing customers who'd like to take advantage of it....
My dry loop DSL is in a former GTE area in North Carolina so nothing ever works correctly for us with Verizon. |
