That makes me 1 of 8,002,530 because I didn't have time that day to update anymore than that.

said by ninjatutle :It can't even remember the last text size you wanted. It remembers the last text size you selected, even after you restart the browser! Oh wait, it doesn't. That's a feature I enjoy because sometimes I need the text bigger to read some small print, but I don't want everything large the next time I go to a different site.
Different strokes for different folks, I like that it doesn't remember the text size. If you need bigger text, you can set it in the preferences to be "bigger" all the time as you need. -- Fight NebuAD and the like: Click Here to pollute their data |

It doesn't mean anything it doesn't mean that that many people use FireFox. hell I don't even use FF much and just for FF 3 I've downloaded betas 1-5, RC1 and the final that's 7 downlaods just from me. Not to mention I've download FF1 and FF2 and some of those betas. So me, just ONE person, and basically a non-FF user, is responsible for over a dozen downloads. |

I already tried that. Thats a dumb way to trying to read with bigger fonts. It makes all fonts the same size.
I want text to have a scale/size ratio. |

Microsoft can say there is a 10 million IE apps installed but how many people actually use it? Even if you say 1 million Firefox downloads are repetitive installs, 7 million + downloads is still quite a feat for 1 day. |

The record only counted unique IP addresses on the first 24 hours of the launch + a cookie validation system. Your Betas 1-5, RC-1 and all the other downloads you ever made in your life never even made into the unofficial count, let alone the final tally.
Do you really think Guinness just hands out records to any joe schmo who comes to them with a number?
What it actually means is that all the people in my office using FF3 only counted as 1 download since we are all behind NAT. Take that into account an the "real world" record could have been even higher. |

Why is it every time someone says something about FF the fanbois get all defensive and say "well IE this and IE that"? Maybe I use Opera or some other browser? WTF does IE have to do with this article? Stay on topic. |
