| Shut up and move on already Ok, lots of people keep saying "I'm dumping Sprint"... "I'm going with so-n-so".. Ok.. you never see these people come back and say "Oh hell yeah.. I went with VZW (or AT&T) and it's SOOOO much cheaper and even with the caps they impose, it's so much better"... I look at it this way, just STFU and leave. Go somewhere else. Move to Indiana and get some 3rd party provider who, I'm sure, will get a notice from SPrint telling them to cap or be capped. Bottom line, Sprint is a lying out their rear sideways to it only effects a very small percentage because someone hit it on the head.. If that was true, make them pay by throttling.. leave everyone else alone. Even if they are not abusing it, at least they feel like they are getting something for free. Something other big heavy hitters do not offer.
MR Dan.. here's a note from a customer. You screwed the pooch by changing the sero plans. Talking to one of your employees, they said they are done pimping your products. Going from 30 to 59 was insane. Who REALLY gives a crap about your navigation service or watching pix-elated tv on those itty bitty screens. A 100.00 gps unit that's DEDICATED to do the job, does it very well. If you were going to cap it, 10 would have been the way to do. Not 5. Good luck with what's going to be left of your company.

As for resellers, there is no contract with Millenicom, so in the event Sprint decides to force them to cap, then I just "STFU and leave" since there is NO CONTRACT. Pretty big reason to switch, don't you think? So, I STFU and left Sprint for Millenicom today.
Goodbye Sprint, not going to miss your horrid customer service and terrible billing system.

| Re: Shut up and move on already Hoosier, get past yourself mate. Just because you find some mom/pop phone company in the middle of nowhere doesn't help those people in large metro areas. You can voice your opinion all you want, this is a free forum, but the way you put it, its no different if, in my opinion I said who cares about some carrier in the middle of some soybean field, I want a carrier that isn't controlled by a contract. If you think, for one second that Sprint wouldn't make it's affiliates cap data usage, then your more ignorant then you appear. There are agreements, just like QChat can't be offered in the Detroit area till Sep because of some agreement with a PCS provider in Ohio. So, do you really think that Sprint would cap it's OWN people, then allow it's affiliates to have free unlimited use? Only a matter of time.. only a matter of time.. | |

| They just dont get it Sprint now has nothing going for it. They dont have the best service, customer service or phone selection. You have 1 good spot to seperate yourself from others.
I am so tired of companies following other companies and stating things like this is where things are headed.
| Quit All 3
@mycingular.net
| 5 GB caps pushed on existing accounts?? Till now I assumed my ATT aircard account would not fall prey to 5 GB limit; my usual usage is 7 to 14 GB. My alternate Internet access is Alltel Blackberry 8830 on tether. I am not happy to see yall writing with apparent assumption VZW will impose 5 GB cap on existing Alltel accounts. If Sprint is successful in court after forcing 5 GB limit on existing accounts, I will probably quit ATT and Alltel. @ Cedar Lake IN, ATT is v slow. Big files must go thru the Blackberry and it is fast! So having two accounts for places like this, is working as planned. Yet if ATT & VZW limit both my accounts some major change will be required. Can you imagine the wear & tear on a land line or cable dragging behind my motor home all year? Before 2009, I may have only one Net10 phone & one $6000 RV satellite internet system. Expensive way to get enough data again but at least I would avoid being VZW customer again. | |

| Re: my bill What Sprint wants you to do is upgrade(?) to a Everything Plan and purchase a Smartphone for your data via PowerVision. That is the only Real "Unlimited" option you have with them now. Its obvious data-only accounts are taking a back seat. -- »evdo-tips.com/ | |

| Re: Honestly? How many will use up 5GB in one month? If Sprint wanted to have an advantage over Verizon and ATT they should make the cap at 8 or 10GB for EVDO and 600-800MB for Roaming.
I'm sure once mobile broadband becomes more widely used in homes they would raise the caps a little.

| why CAP
@mindspring.com
| if it doesn't affect 99.5% of the users, then why cap? This is funny how they say cap will not affect 99.5% of the user, and they still implement it any way. If it does not affect 99.5% why both it any way? Is that 0.5% that account 99.5% of your network total capacity?
This is like signing up for a unlimited shared host that way oversold their limit and blame customers for abusing the system.

| business as usual Sprint really had a chance here. I was very tempted to sign up a few months ago. Now I'm glad that I waited to see how Sprint would play this out. Google, Intel, and the whole Wimax effort will hopefully steer clear of these kinds of practices and Sprint as well. | |
