Well...

What does it really matter what you vote, when the only votes that count are those of the Electoral Colleges?

Re: Well...

Depends on the state you're in. Some states require that the electoral college vote reflect the popular vote.

I was under the impression that when you voted for president, you were actually voting for a "slate" of electors who would represent your state in the Electoral College... which is a somewhat roundabout way of going about it...

I do like the National Popular Vote bill, but I fear that it will even if voted in will get overturned under the claim that all states must have a democratic form of government, while with NPV a states' electors could go against the will of the majority of the people in the state if the state's majority votes for the losing candidate.

Still calling him "D-MBNA"

Another reason not to vote for him is his role in the bankruptcy "reform" bill, nothing more than a "wish list" for the credit card industry.

Suffer an unexpected illness and can't pay your medical bills?

Thank Joe Biden for the reason you can't file chapter 7.

If you ever get well, better plan on moving to a state that prohibits wage garnishments.

Whoa nelly !

He is a friend not only to RIAA and MPAA but also to the FBI who he has supported with anti-encryption laws that are in keeping with the FBI’s desire to engage in wiretapping.
Wow, the fact that this guy has supported moves to restrict the use of encryption in this country definitely makes me even more leary of the Obama/Biden ticket, more than I was before. The idea of government restrictions on encryption gives the governments of countries like Iran, North Korea and China a major hard on and that definitely is not something this country should want to emulate. It is bad enough that the ITAR regulations exist, but restricting key length or requiring key escrow - hell no.

better look at the "real" ticket

They both voted for the bankruptcy law change after the banks had lobbied for over 20 years! So they are "real" concerned with regular people getting caught up in the mortgage mess, lets throw them out of their houses AND keep them in debt for the rest of their lives. Good work boys.
And by the way, ignore 18 million voters who wanted Hilary, many of them swing voters who have already swung to McCain when they saw over 2000 tanks rolling into Georgia and Obama surfing for a few more days!
How stupid are the democrats anyway- with a ticket of the 4th and second most liberal senators running.
