Another M2Z fantasy story that has about 1% chance of ever happening.

| The Risks of Treating Broadband like a Cheap Utility Service
Obviously the writers at ISPREVIEW have not had their electric service provided by an electrical cooperative. Their rates are low as compared to the for profit electrical utility in this area, on the other hand my line voltage varies from 109 (218) Volts to 122 (244) Volts over an Eight hour period. Where I moved from the max voltage variation was about 4 (8) Volts. It is like one's broadband speed varying from 4Mbps to 500Kbps over an Eight Hour Period. Fortunately the builder installed AC equipment rated for 208 Volts to 250 Volts otherwise I would be replacing compressors on a regular basis. |

What truth? Estrin's, or Vos's? Estrin, from the quotes, blames risk-averseness and poor standards among VCs. Vos uses this as a springboard for her anti-free-market views. |
