I was one of them...

I can't say I've noticed any significant different in coverage in my area between the carriers. Prices are about the same. Roll over minutes are slick. (Does Verizon do that yet?)

I was too.

I notice a definite increase in drops, and call quality when the phone is in 2G mode.

Verizon reaped what it sowed. Apple wanted to control the phone's software and marketing, and Verizon wanted to maximize their upcharge services.

I really do miss the Verizon network, and hope in a few years, if I still have money and a phone, that I'll be able to switch back to them.
