I'm not talking about the triple play for the yearly promotional pricing. I mean after that promotional period is over, how much is non-Boost Optimum Online? It's been 3 or 4 years since I had CV, but this free wifi they provide is kind of a nice perk. It popped up as an available wireless network a week or two ago near me.

Their prices seem in line with what I pay for the similar service from a comparable corporation in the same market. So their prices are no higher or lower then their competition. So it's like saying Shell's gas prices are too high when they are the same as Exxon's, Gulf's etc. More appropriately, "gas prices are too high".
But I concur that "included" is more accurate then "free" but that is marketing and not reality.

kudos:1 | finally fixed the site Areas of CT have had the wifi for months now, some since the initial announcement and were listed on the pre-google maps page.
Then they redid the website of the wifi service to look be beta-ish, and removed all non Nassau/Suffolk wifi coverage on their map. They finally corrected that mistake. | |

Maybe not-about the deployment. it seems they sprung the Bronx/Westchester rollout all at once. NJ already have WiFi spots in Bergen and Morris Counties, perhaps they're quietly adding nodes across those areas-including Paterson and Newark.
